World premiere of Jimmy Lee’s 'The Empty Room' and other Orchestral Stories.

Thursday July 12th 2016
Conway Hall, London

Composer Jimmy Lee launches his debut classical album The Empty Room at Conway Hall. The Guards Chapel Orchestra, a newly founded ensemble comprising of musicians from the Corps of Army Music and the Orion Orchestra, perform the world premiere of these new works. Major Craig Hallatt, Director of Music for The Household Cavalry, who arranged Jimmy’s scores for symphony orchestra, will conduct the orchestra.

From classical music to contemporary folk ballads and Americana, Jimmy has an exotic and diverse compositional style. Disregarding all barriers that stand between genres, Jimmy has pursued his love of music regardless of any rules. His career has taken him from London’s Wembley Arena and across Europe, to the bars and beer joints in America’s Mid West.
